Sterling Script Lines - S4: Episode 12
1) Raymond: Humor worked for pickles, but the way beans are funny, we can't use that.
2) Atherton: Signing new business is of the essence, not only because your billings have shrunk 50%, but you'll be perceived as stagnant. Roger: Yes, doctor, we know there's a black spot on the X-ray. You don't have to keep tapping your finger on it. 3) Atherton: You're a certain kind of girl, and tobacco is your ideal boyfriend. 4) Sally about Betty: She doesn't care what the truth is as long as I do what she says. 5) Midge, about drugs: He said it would take my mind off my work. Turns out, it's a full time job. 6) Don: We're Creative, the least important most important thing there is. 7) Pete: It's in my contract. I'll lose my partnership. Trudy: You'll lose your state room on the Titanic? 8) Roger, to Don: Someone used your name to end our business in the newspaper. It's not you, is it? 9) Don: So, you haven't said anything about the letter. Peggy (quoting Don after the ham stunt earlier this season): I thought you didn't go in for those kinds of shenanigans. 10) Betty, about Glen: Believe me, I know him better than you do. Sally: You don't know him at all. |

- In the first episode this season, Public Relations, Don fails at an interview with a reporter because he doesn't say enough about the real story. Here, at the end of the fourth season, you could argue he says too much in public.
