Sterling Script Lines - S2: Episode 10
1) Don: This is a business trip. I don't want either of you coming back tan.
Pete: What if I have to play golf? Don: As long as you lose. 2) Pete, to Trudy about adoption: Why do you insist on making me angry before I go to bed? 3) Don, to Betty, about her father: Everything's gonna be okay. Betty: Sure. Everything's perfect. 4) Sheila, to Paul: All you ever do is complain about that place and those people. 5) Pete: How long can she afford to live? Bud: Golly, Pete, maybe we can get rid of her tonight. 6) Bud, on having kids: We have a five-year plan. Although secretly I think Judy hopes we're that childless couple that people invite over. 7) Betty, to William: Stop counting other people's money. 8) Gene, about Don: He has no people! You can't trust a person like that. 9) Pete, to his mother: Your husband spent everything you had. Spent it with strangers. All of it. 10) Bert, stopping in for Harry's baby shower: I just want to say, Happy Birthday! |

Things We Should Have Said
- Betty and William reference things they were told growing up in one scene, including "Conversation is an art," as opposed to foolish small talk, and "Stop counting other people's money," when William suggests Betty and Don could afford to care for Gene.
